GitHub

  • Acquired by Microsoft for $7.5bn, GitHub is a development platform inspired by the way you work. From open source to business, you can host and review code, manage projects, and build software alongside millions of other developers. So if you need to find a techie for a project, look no further.

Glassdoor

  • Glassdoor is one of the world’s largest job and recruiting sites, offering millions of the job adverts, combined with a growing database of company reviews, CEO approval ratings and salary reports.
  • Job postings are handled by Indeed and therefore includes a fee, however jobs will also appear on Glassdoor for free.
  • Use for: engaging with candidates from around the world.

Upwork

  • Upwork is the largest global freelancing website. With millions of jobs posted on Upwork annually, freelancers are earning money by providing companies with over 5,000 skills across more than 70 categories of work.
  • Use for: engaging with talent from around the world.
  • It’s free to post jobs and engaging with freelancers is quick and easy.

Xing

  • Currently having more than 14 million registered members, Xing is a platform where professionals from all kinds of different industries can meet up, find jobs, colleagues, new assignments, cooperation partners, experts and generate business ideas.
  • Members can meet and exchange views in over 50,000 specialist groups, while also getting together at networking events.
  • Use for: engaging with talent in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

  • If you could is a great way to advertise or find creative talent, the site doesn’t have any logins or profiles, so it’s very basic and simple and straight to the point – connecting qualified individuals with jobs.
